My Dream
I’ve wanted to tell others about Jesus since grade school. An introvert from the start, l planned to write. So I worked my way through college, studying journalism and literature. With few jobs in Christian publishing in Sioux Falls and later Omaha, I worked in public relations, advertising, and commercial writing and editing.
I also had four books published by Thomas Nelson, Moody Publishers, and Hallmark. Collectively, they sold 130,000 copies. The first—Courageous Christians—is still available.
Soon, I'll be launching Prayer & Praise: A Scripture-Based Guided Prayer Journal for Women. I'm so excited about its potential to help readers fall madly in love with the Lord. To learn more, visit my Books page.

My Loves
In 1978, I met a brilliant, handsome young man in a church Bible study. Convinced he was a gift from the Lord, I married him a year later in a small chapel, wearing a homemade dress.
In time, we were blessed with two adorable sons who grew into remarkable, caring adults.
Because marriage and parenthood are such beautiful pictures of our relationship with the Lord, I often write about what both have taught me about my eternal Husband and heavenly Father.

My Journey
In 2008, our world crashed when my strong, athletic husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Three years later, he left our home for a perfect one. Since losing my prince, I’ve gained a loving daughter-in-law and a precious little grand darling.
Recently retired, I’m praying the Lord will help me make the rest of my life count. I want to love Jesus madly, live with holy recklessness, and encourage others to join me in a joy-filled adventure and romance with Him.
